Add custom step icons to the UUT report (server)

When step icons are missing in the UUT report it is because the step types are not recognized. This also applies for the status icons (e.g. PASSED). You can add your custom icons or copy one of the existing icons to fix this issue.

  • At the WATS server, browse to C:\ProgramData\Virinco\WATS\WATS\wats-da\Resources\images\TI-Icons.
  • Either copy an existing icon and rename it with the custom step name (e.g. VICNumericLimitTest.png)
  • Or copy a new icon with the prefix steptypename.png
  • The icon must be added as both GIF and PNG, dimension 16 x 16 pixels.

    Is there an overview of all the images available in "\Resources\images\TI-Icons" for the cloud solution?

    No, there is not. What kind of step icons are you missing? If they are from a TestStand toolkit or add-on, maybe we could update our library.
