Limit Asset Visibility by level

In the default view of assets in Asset Manager the assets are associated with the System they were last registered on. This immediately makes me think that a user which does not have access to System X should not be able to view assets that were last registered on that PC.

Would it be possible to limit what assets a user has access to based on their accounts level restrictions?

My use-case is involving the EMS partner more in tracking assets. If I grant them access to assets now I have to grant them access to all assets across all locations and EMS partners. If the same restriction on test data was applied to assets then the EMS partner could only see test data from their level and only see assets from their level.
