WATS is putting an AI analyst and support assistant at your fingertips. Ask questions about your production data in plain language and get clear answers back, either inside WATS with Alvea Assistant or from your preferred AI platform through MCP.
What is WATS Alvea Assistant?
WATS Alvea Assistant is an AI chat and agent powered by an LLM that lets users ask questions about WATS usage, help, navigation and data analytics in plain language. Answers are grounded in live WATS data and come with charts, tables and direct links into the relevant reports.
The assistant works in two modes: Analyze, which investigates your live production data from a broad overview down to root cause, and Help, which assists with documentation, navigation and understanding the page you are on.
What is WATS MCP?
The WATS MCP (Model Context Protocol) server implements an open standard that lets external AI clients connect to a system and use its tools. With it, you can connect your preferred AI platform that supports the MCP protocol, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to WATS and ask the same kinds of questions you would ask Alvea Assistant. The MCP server exposes the same underlying toolset that Alvea Assistant uses. With MCP, you can also connect multiple MCP servers together in a single chat session to build even more complex workflows integrated with multiple systems.
Both features are in Beta
WATS Alvea Assistant and MCP are both released as Beta. While they will remain in beta for now, opening them up to a broader audience means more users can explore, test, and benefit from their capabilities, while continuing to help us improve them further. Your feedback directly shapes how they develop.
