About this integration

The WATS Client API is available as a Visual Studio NuGet package.

The package provides access to the WATS Client API for development of test sequencers, converters, and other custom tools.

The purpose of the package is to allow developers to use the WATS Client API without installing the full WATS Client during development.

The package includes the WATS Client API only and is not a replacement for the WATS Client installation. Functions such as running converters, synchronizing operations, logging usage statistics, and retrying failed uploads are handled by the WATS Client service.

When software developed using the package is deployed alongside a WATS Client installation, the API version from the installed WATS Client is used.
