"Set operation Type" WATS Custom Step Type

When using Custom Step Type "Set operation Type" I got four destinations to choose from in the drop down menu.

What is the difference between these and how do i know what to choose?

Further more. If I have made some custom operations, e.g. "MSA-test", will that appear in the "Operation Type" drop down?

  Hi,

  1. Those are 4 valid "path" suggestions in TS depending on where you use the step, and what Process model you are using.

  2. Yes, new Processes (Test Operation) is downloaded periodically from the client. To force an update, restart the WATS client service or your computer.

  Hi,
  Thanks.
  Is there a Operation Type that is hidden from the Process Heatmap, default Dashboard, etc.
  When you run MSA test, stability test and other test, that is not a normal operation in the production, you want them NOT to pup up in Process Heatmap, default Dashboard etc.
  But you want to find them by filtering in Test reports, Test step analysis, Export wizard, GR&R analysis, etc.

  Hi,

  No, but you can exclude operations in dashboards and heatmaps (and save the filter).
  We will also soon release shared and global heatmaps (Q4)
