Factory map

WATS Dashboards supports a Factory Map widget that provides a visual representation of your manufacturing environment with real-time monitoring of clients and levels. It allows you to position items according to your actual factory layout, providing an intuitive overview of production performance, yield metrics, and operational status.

The Factory Map is a highly customizable dashboard widget that adapts to your specific manufacturing environment. You can drag and position clients and levels to mirror your physical setup, upload a factory floor plan as the background, and apply yield-based color coding to quickly identify performance trends across your production environment.

Key Features

Real-Time Monitoring

The Factory Map provides a visual overview of your production environment by displaying clients and levels directly on the map. Each box can display up to two selected statistics and includes status indicators showing whether a client is active, inactive, or offline.

Interactive Client Actions

Each client box includes an action menu that allows you to:

• Open related reports for further analysis.
• View WATS Alvea suggestions.
• Use the selected client as context for Alvea Assistant.

Flexible Layout Configuration

Clients and levels can be positioned using drag-and-drop to accurately reflect your physical production layout. Once the layout has been configured, positions can be locked to prevent accidental changes.

Adding the Widget

To use the Factory Map widget, add it to your dashboard by selecting Widget Toolbox > Add > Factory Map. Once the widget has been added, select Widget Toolbox > Edit to configure the widget settings and customize the layout.

Widget Settings

In the widget settings, you can:

• Show or hide the widget title.
• Customize the canvas background color.
• Upload a factory floor plan image to use as the map background.
• Apply yield-based color coding to client boxes.
• Select the display mode (Show Clients, Show Levels, or Show All).
• Choose up to two statistics to display on each box.
• Enable auto-scaling of the layout.
• Lock client positions once they have been arranged to match your physical setup.

Click Save to apply your changes.

Using the Factory Map

Arrange clients and levels to match your factory layout, then use the displayed statistics, yield colors, and status indicators to monitor production performance in real time. Select the action menu on any client to access related reports, view Alvea suggestions, or use the client as context for Alvea Assistant.
