The Map View provides a geographical overview of all WATS Clients and Virtual Levels with configured GPS coordinates. These are displayed as pins on an interactive map, allowing you to visualize the physical distribution of your WATS infrastructure.
Note: Only clients and levels with valid GPS coordinates are displayed. Coordinates can be configured in the Info tab.
For WATS Clients, the Location service can automatically track GPS coordinates when enabled.
Virtual Levels must have coordinates configured manually.
Map Pins
Each client or level is represented by a pin. The pin color indicates the current status:
- Green - Online
The client is online and operating as expected. - Blue - Inactive
The client is online but has not received reports in the last 24 hours. - Grey - Offline
The client has not sent recent “is alive” pings. - Orange - Pending / Unactivated
The client has pending reports exceeding a threshold or is not yet activated.
Grouped Pins
When multiple clients or levels share the same GPS coordinates, they are grouped into a single pin with a badge indicating the total count.
Hovering over a grouped pin displays a tooltip listing all entities at that location.
Interacting with the Map
- Single click
Centers the map on the selected item and sets it as active. - Double click
Opens the selected item(s) in the Default view for detailed management. - Reset zoom
Fits all pins within the visible map area. - Zoom in
Displays labels on pins for easier identification at higher zoom levels.
