Uninstall the WATS client from Windows (Control Panel/Programs (and Features))
- Close TestStand, LabVIEW and any WATS applications
- Make sure there are no pending UUT reports
- Disconnect the WATS Client in WATS Client Configure under Connection
If needed - delete the "ResultProcessing.cfg" file:
- After Windows has completed the uninstall, browse to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\TestStand 2012\Cfg\ModelPlugins (Win7, 8, 10) or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\TestStand 2012\Cfg\ModelPlugins (WinXP)
- Delete the "ResultProcessing.cfg" file. Note: this will set the Result Processing back to default
If needed - Manually Remove WATS add-on files from TestStand.
Normally, uninstalling the WATS client automatically removes all WATS files and folders, but it some cases they are not deleted.
Delete the following files and folders:
TestStand 2012 and above:
Form the <TestStand Public> directory (the files/folders are located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand XX on Windows XP and at C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand XX on Windows 7 and above):
- \Components\WATS_Models
- \Components\WATS_ModelSupport
- \Components\Icons\
- all WATS icon files
- \Components\TypePalettes\
- WATS_Types.ini
- WATS_CfgTypes.ini
- \Components\Models\ModelPlugins\WATS_ReportLogger.seq (TestStand 2012 and above)
- \CodeTemplates\WATS-XXXX-LabVIEW (Delete the 4 folders)
If TestStand is missing/searching for the WATS_SequentialModel.seq file after an uninstall
Change the default Station Model back to SequentialModel.seq (Configure>Station Options...>Model)
