We have identified an issue in the cloud release 2026.2.11.

File attachments rejected in Attach file step when accepted file type is a wildcard (*.*)

Status: Identified — fix in progress

Summary

We have confirmed a bug where the Attach file step rejects valid files when the step's accepted file type is configured as a wildcard (*.* or .*) which is the default config. 

Impact

Users cannot attach files to reports where the Attach file step uses a wildcard (*.* or .*) as the accepted file type.

Reports that were already started keep their original configuration and will continue to reject files until the fix is released.

Workaround

For new reports:
In the Sequence designer, Attach file step, replace the wildcard with the explicit file extensions you need, including the leading dot — for example .JPG or list several if you need multiple types.This is configured in Sequence Designer, reachable from Production Manager → Sequence Designer tab → Download.For reports already started:
Save them as drafts and attach the files once the update is installed.

Resolution

A fix is being developed and is currently our top priority. It must pass testing before release, and we expect it to be available early next week. We will update this incident when the release is out.
